Nutrients - Your body needs several important nutrients. If the diet you avoid any of these products .... then avoid this diet! Your body craves those nutrients, and when you restrict your body of these nutrients .... That's when the disease, obesity and more creeps up on you!
Calories - If the diet encourages you to significantly reduce the number of calories consumed daily .... then avoid this diet! Best thing to do is to take the number of calories you need to get a day and reduce this amount by no more than 500 calories, and never go to 1200 calories, no matter what your type of body. When you are a serious decrease calorie intake, you slow down your metabolism. A slow metabolism will then store calories as fat!
